This is a Granular Activated Carbon cartridge that effectively reduces unwanted tastes, odors and chlorine taste and odor from your drinking water. As a whole house filter it will effectively reduce the above items in approximately 20,000 gallons of water based on manufacturer's internal testing.

This cartridge is constructed of polypropylene fibers. It is well suited for the whole house filtration of which is often referred to as turbidity. The cartridges are available in 10 or 20 micron ratings.
