Acid Neutralizers are filled with a mixture of Calcite (calcium carbonate) and Corosex (magnesia oxide) to raise the pH of acidic water to prevent copper corrosion and to facilitate oxidation of mineral contaminents such as iron. Automatic Fleck control valves have a non-corrosive distribution system constructed of brass and glass reinforced Noryl plastic or lead free brass. The teflon-coated brass piston is the only internal moving part which is one of the reasons why Fleck control valves are the most reliable valves in the water treatment industry. The valves have an easy to set 24 hour time control with 1 thru 12 day backwash cycle. A bypass valve is also included.
