| Drinking Water Systems...Countertop Distillers Countertop Distillers
The process of distillation is a relatively simple
one. Water is heated to 212 degrees in the boiler vessel. Boiling the water produces steam
that is virtually contaminant free.
The steam is then vented through a condenser coil
that converts the steam back into water, which then percolates through a post carbon
filter that removes any remaining organics such as chlorine, trihalomethanes, PCBs, and
pesticides.
Distillation alone removes
99% of dissolved solids
including sodium, aluminum, nitrates, lead, copper, arsenic and many others
